Building for education.
MindFuel was part of my early work on education products, spanning career guidance and tools for educational institutions. It brought product development into contact with the practical needs of students and institutes.
My work across this period included building products, go-to-market and securing initial closures with coaching institutes. There was early validation and revenue: the first steps towards a business around the product.
A learning product people could use.
BrainItOn focused on gamified learning and assessment. The work covered the journey from product development to introducing the app to users.
The BrainItOn app reached more than 10,000 downloads. Taking a consumer product into the world added direct experience of distribution and adoption alongside engineering and product development.
The work extended beyond the product.
Build it
Developing the product and turning the idea into something people could use.
Take it to market
Working on go-to-market and initial commercial closures with coaching institutes.
Run the early business
Bringing product building, customer relationships and early revenue into the same set of responsibilities.
A foundation in building and operating.
These ventures gave me experience across product creation and the work of running an early business. At iHub, I went on to work with the wider startup ecosystem. At CultureX, I led product and technology in an enterprise setting.
That combination forms the background to my work at Truvium today.
